Get Your Word Out

It really doesn't do any good to have the best argument in the world if you don't have an audience does it? I mean if nobody was there to listen to Martin Luther King or John F. Kennedy our world would be drastically different.

I have been involved with the internet since the mid- to late 90's and helped my girlfriend start her internet presence for her essential oil business. Several years ago she took a class by Marilee Tolen and learned a tremendous amount and had re-enforced what I am teaching you in the series of articles in the Geek Zone here at Your Web Reference.

She even learned some things I didn’t know (even with over ten years experience of working the web.) With what I have taught her and what she learned from Marilee she now has an aromatherapy blog (started a little over a year ago) that attracts over 1,000 people a day. It is growing pretty fast for not paying for advertising.

There is, if you don’t already know, a website ranking company called Quantcast that currently ranks over 20 million websites and has over 10 million “directly measured” sites. As of this writing she ranks, in the directly measured sites, in the top 1%! That’s excellent. By the way, according to Quantcast, Google just passed Yahoo in traffic in the last couple of months.
